Hi there! I’m Lucía (27), a PhD researcher from Spain working with UGent and imec.
I’m moving back to Ghent for the final year of my doctorate after spending time in Galway, Ireland, completing the industrial phase of my project. Having lived in Ghent back in 2024 for a research stay, I already know and love the city, so I’m really excited to be coming back!
I’m looking for a place for one year starting from September 2026, where registering my domicile is possible.
As a tenant and flatmate, I’m calm, clean, and respectful. I’m not into partying and spend most of my days working at the lab, so I really value having a quiet, cosy home to relax in after work. I have plenty of experience sharing flats in Spain, Germany, Belgium, and Ireland, including living with landlords directly, so I completely understand the importance of taking care of the space and keeping things easygoing and comfortable for everyone.
